INSTRUCTIONS
1 Preheat your oven to 180°C in hot air mode.
2 Melt 200g of dark chocolate and the butter in a bain-marie.
3 In a bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until the mixture whitens, then add the melted butter/chocolate mixture.
4 Sift the flour, baking powder and salt over the mixture. Mix and pour the mixture into a buttered and floured 24 cm cake mould. Bake the cake in the middle of the oven for 20 minutes. Let the cake cool completely and then remove from the mould.
5 For the ganache: melt 50g of dark chocolate and the cream in a bain marie. Stir until a homogeneous ganache is obtained.
6 Cut out a triangle in the cake to form a mouth. Place the cake in a serving dish with the triangle in place of the tail.
7 Cover the cake with chocolate ganache and decorate it with Smarties and melted white chocolate, leaving room for your imagination!
