Frozen coconut and chocolate terrine
Preparation time: approx. 15 mins
Freezing time: approx. 12 h
For a terrine mould of approx. 500 ml capacity or a cake form of approx. 20 cm, prepare form (see Tip 1).
- Melt chocolate and butter (see Tip 2).
- Add condensed milk and all ingredients up to and including peppermint, pour into prepared form. Cover and freeze for approx. 12 hours.
Turn terrine out onto a board, remove cling film. Allow to thaw slightly, cut into slices, arrange on plates. Decorate with peppermint and coconut shavings set aside earlier.
Tip 1: Brush form with oil, line with cling film.
Tip 2: Melt the chocolate and butter in a small, thin-walled bowl over a pan of gently simmering water, stir until smooth.
